ubhayatáḥ pávamānasya raśmáyo dhruvásya satáḥ pári yanti ketávaḥ | yadī pavítre ádhi mṛ́jyate háriḥ sattā́ ní yonā kalaśéṣu sīdati ||

自ら清められるソーマ(Soma)の光線は、真実(sat)に堅く住して、両側より光の徴(ketu)としてめぐり行く。黄褐の者(hari)が濾し布(pavitra)の上で磨き清められるとき、まことの座に就き、受け容れ保つ杯(kalaśa)という諸の「胎(よな)」に静かに坐す。
