ईळे गिरा मनुर्हितं यं देवा दूतमरतिं न्येरिरे । यजिष्ठं हव्यवाहनम् ॥

ī́ḷe girā́ manúr-hitaṃ yáṃ devā́ dūtám aratíṃ nyèrire | yájiṣṭhaṃ havya-vā́hanam ||

我は言葉の讃歌をもって、マヌ(Manu)により据えられた火を礼拝する。神々が使者として動かし立てた、倦むことなき行者を。祭儀において最も力ある者、供物を運ぶ者を。
