समाववर्ति विष्ठितो जिगीषुर्विश्वेषां कामश्चरताममाभूत् । शश्वाँ अपो विकृतं हित्व्यागादनु व्रतं सवितुर्दैव्यस्य ॥
Transliteration
sam-ā́vavarti víṣṭhito jigīṣúr víśveṣāṃ kā́maś cáratām amā́bhūt | śáśvāṃ ápo ví-kṛtaṃ hitvī́ ā́gād ánu vratáṃ savitúr daívyasya ||
Translation
彼はめぐり返りつつ、堅く立ち、勝利を求める者となった。動くすべてのもののうちに、彼は欲求そのものとなった。歪められた形態を捨て去り、彼は常住の水とともに来たり、サヴィトリ（Savitṛ）の神聖なる誓規（vrata）に従う。
