Sukta 2.23
देवाश्चित्ते असुर्य प्रचेतसो बृहस्पते यज्ञियं भागमानशुः । उस्रा इव सूर्यो ज्योतिषा महो विश्वेषामिज्जनिता ब्रह्मणामसि ॥
devā́ś cit te asurya prá-cetaso bṛ́haspate yajñíyaṃ bhāgám ānaśuḥ | usrā́ iva sū́ryo jyótiṣā mahó víśveṣām íj janitā́ bráhmaṇām asi ||
光輝ある主、神威を具える者（asurya）、意識において遠く見通すブリハスパティ（Bṛhaspati）よ。神々さえも、あなたによって祭儀の分け前（yajñiyaṃ bhāgam）にあずかった。暁の牝牛（uṣrā）の大いなる光をもつ太陽のように、あなたはまことに一切の梵咒（brahman）の生み手——あらゆる力における創造の聖言（Brahman）の源である。
