आ विबाध्या परिरापस्तमांसि च ज्योतिष्मन्तं रथमृतस्य तिष्ठसि । बृहस्पते भीमममित्रदम्भनं रक्षोहणं गोत्रभिदं स्वर्विदम् ॥
Transliteration
ā́ vi-bā́dhya pari-rā́pas tamā́ṃsi ca jyótiṣmantaṃ rátham ṛtásya tiṣṭhasi | bṛ́haspate bhīmám amítra-dámbhanaṃ rakṣó-haṇaṃ gotrá-bhidaṃ svàr-vidám ||
Translation
包みこむ闇と敵対の圧迫を打ち払い、あなたは真理（ṛta）の光輝ある戦車に立つ。ブリハスパティ（Bṛhaspati）よ、あなたは畏るべく、敵の驕慢を砕く者、貪り喰らう羅刹（rakṣas）を殺す者、隠蔽の洞窟（go-tra）を裂く者、光の天界（svar）を見いだす者。
