त्वां यज्ञेष्वृत्विजं चारुमग्ने नि षेदिरे । घृतप्रतीकं मनुषो वि वो मदे शुक्रं चेतिष्ठमक्षभिर्विवक्षसे ॥
Transliteration
tvā́ṃ yajñéṣv ṛtv́ijaṃ cā́rum agne ní ṣedire | ghṛtápratīkaṃ mánuṣo ví vo made śukráṃ cétiṣṭham akṣábhír vívakṣase ||
Translation
アグニよ、祭祀において人々は汝を、時節の祭官（ṛtvij）として、麗しき者として座せしめた。酥油（ghṛta）の面をもつ汝は、われらの歓喜（マダ）のうちに、洞見の眼をもって、清明にして最も鋭き知覚の力を顕現せんとする。
