Is mantra mein Dravinodah ko bulaya ja raha hai jo dhan aur vardaan dene wale hain. Yeh Soma peene wali shakti hai aur sahi tarike se pooja karne se khush hoti hai. Hotr, Potr, Neshtr aur Adhvaryu yeh chaar poojari is yagya mein kaam karte hain. Sahi samay par jo cheez chadhai jaati hai usse devta prasann hote hain. Jab devta chautha pyala peeta hai tab dhan aur taakat milti hai. Yajna karne wale ko safalta aur khushali mil jaati hai.

मन्दस्व होत्रादनु जोषमन्धसोऽध्वर्यवः स पूर्णां वष्ट्यासिचम् । तस्मा एतं भरत तद्वशो ददिर्होत्रात्सोमं द्रविणोदः पिब ऋतुभिः ॥
Soma ki ras se khush ho jao, hota ki awaaz ke peeche chalo. Adhvaryu log poora paani laate hain. Use yeh do, woh chahta hai. Dhan dene wale, hota ke paas se Soma piyo, sahi waqt par.

यमु पूर्वमहुवे तमिदं हुवे सेदु हव्यो ददिर्यो नाम पत्यते । अध्वर्युभिः प्रस्थितं सोम्यं मधु पोत्रात्सोमं द्रविणोदः पिब ऋतुभिः ॥
Jise maine pehle bulaya tha, use phir se bulata hoon. Woh ha, jiska naam Dadhi hai, woh hawa ke malik hain. Adhvaryu log Soma ki meethi ras rakhte hain. Dhan dene wale, potra ke paas se Soma piyo, sahi waqt par.

मेद्यन्तु ते वह्नयो येभिरीयसेऽरिषण्यन्वीळयस्वा वनस्पते । आयूया धृष्णो अभिगूर्या त्वं नेष्ट्रात्सोमं द्रविणोदः पिब ऋतुभिः ॥
Is mantra mein Agni se keh rahe hain ki uske rath ke ghode taiyaar hon. Woh apne aap ko nuksan nahi pahuncha sakta, aage badh raha hai. Agni, jo lakdi ka swami hai, woh himmat ke saath paas aao. Som ras peeo, jo dhan deta hai. Yeh sab rit ke hisaab se ho raha hai.

अपाद्धोत्रादुत पोत्रादमत्तोत नेष्ट्रादजुषत प्रयो हितम् । तुरीयं पात्रममृक्तममर्त्यं द्रविणोदाः पिबतु द्राविणोदसः ॥
Agni ne Hotri se piya hai, Potri se khush hua hai. Neshtri se usne jo chadhaaya gaya hai woh liya hai. Ab woh chautha paatra peeta hai, jisme kuch milaya nahi hai. Yeh amrit jaisa hai. Jo dhan dete hain woh bhi peete hain.

अर्वाञ्चमद्य यय्यं नृवाहणं रथं युञ्जाथामिह वां विमोचनम् । पृङ्क्तं हवींषि मधुना हि कं गतमथा सोमं पिबतं वाजिनीवसू ॥
Aaj rath jodo jo aage badh raha hai aur insaan ko le ke jata hai. Isse tumhari mukti hogi aur kaam failega. Chadhawa mein shahad milao jo meetha hai. Hamari pukar sun ke aao, phir Som ras piyo. Tum jo shakti aur dhan se bhare ho.

जोष्यग्ने समिधं जोष्याहुतिं जोषि ब्रह्म जन्यं जोषि सुष्टुतिम् । विश्वेभिर्विश्वाँ ऋतुना वसो मह उशन्देवाँ उशतः पायया हविः ॥
Agni, tum jalne mein khush ho, chadhawa mein khush ho. Jo mantra hum bolte hain usmein khush ho, jo tarike se hum tumhari prashansa karte hain usmein khush ho. Saare devtaon ke saath, rit ke hisaab se, tum woh devtaon ko bhi pilaao jo pyaase hain. Yeh sab sahi dhang se ho.
