Soma Pavamāna
Ce bref hymne à Pavamāna loue Soma comme le flot exalté et purifié qui, se précipitant à travers les filtres, «dépasse et surmonte» tous les obstacles. Mantra 1
तरत्स मन्दी धावति धारा सुतस्यान्धसः । तरत्स मन्दी धावति ॥
Dépassant et triomphant, le flot enivrant s’élance — ce courant du nectar pressé ; dépassant et triomphant, il s’élance.
Mantra 2
उस्रा वेद वसूनां मर्तस्य देव्यवसः । तरत्स मन्दी धावति ॥
Le Rayonnant connaît les richesses pour le mortel qui cherche l’aide divine ; dépassant et triomphant, le flot enivrant s’élance.
Mantra 3
ध्वस्रयोः पुरुषन्त्योरा सहस्राणि दद्महे । तरत्स मन्दी धावति ॥
Des deux courants lumineux, toujours surabondants, nous recevons des milliers (de richesses intérieures) ; lui, Soma qui réjouit, franchit au-delà et poursuit sa course dans son flot rapide.

आ ययोस्त्रिंशतं तना सहस्राणि च दद्महे । तरत्स मन्दी धावति ॥
Vers ces deux (courants/puissances) nous prenons et établissons — trente dans leur étendue, et des milliers encore ; lui, Soma qui réjouit, franchit au-delà et poursuit sa course.
