Soma Pavamāna

এই সংক্ষিপ্ত পবমান সূক্তে সোমের প্রশংসা করা হয়েছে—উল্লসিত ও পরিশুদ্ধ স্রোতরূপে—যে ছাঁকনির মধ্য দিয়ে দ্রুত ধাবিত হয়ে সকল বাধা “অতিক্রম করে ও জয় করে”। সোমের দ্রুত, বিজয়ী প্রবাহকে এখানে প্রাচুর্যের সঙ্গে যুক্ত করা হয়েছে—দুটি উজ্জ্বল ধারার থেকে “হাজার হাজার” লাভের আগমন—এবং শেষে সোমের গতিশীল শক্তির দ্বারা ব্যাপক বৃদ্ধি ও প্রতিষ্ঠা/স্থাপনের অনুভূতিতে উপনীত হয়।

Mantra 1

तरत्स मन्दी धावति धारा सुतस्यान्धसः । तरत्स मन्दी धावति ॥

অতিক্রম করে, বাধা জয় করে, মন্দী (উল্লসিত) ধারা ধাবিত হয়—এটি সুত অন্ধস্ (সোমরস)-এর প্রবাহ; অতিক্রম করে, জয় করে, সে ধাবিত হয়।

उस्रा वेद वसूनां मर्तस्य देव्यवसः । तरत्स मन्दी धावति ॥

উস্রা (দীপ্তিমতী) দেব্যবস (দৈব সহায়) কামনাকারী মর্ত্যের জন্য বসু (ধন) জানে; অতিক্রম করে, জয় করে, মন্দী ধারা ধাবিত হয়।

Mantra 3

ध्वस्रयोः पुरुषन्त्योरा सहस्राणि दद्महे । तरत्स मन्दी धावति ॥

দুটি উজ্জ্বল, সদা-সমৃদ্ধ ধারার থেকে আমরা সহস্র সহস্র (অন্তর্নিহিত ঐশ্বর্য) লাভ করি। আনন্দদায়ক সোম পার হয়ে যায় এবং তার দ্রুত প্রবাহে ধাবিত হয়।

आ ययोस्त्रिंशतं तना सहस्राणि च दद्महे । तरत्स मन्दी धावति ॥

সেই দুই (ধারা/শক্তি)-র দিকে আমরা—তাদের বিস্তারে ত্রিশ, আর সঙ্গে আরও সহস্র—গ্রহণ করে প্রতিষ্ঠা করি। আনন্দদায়ক সোম পার হয়ে যায় এবং তার দ্রুত প্রবাহে ধাবিত হয়।
