इरावतीर्वरुण धेनवो वां मधुमद्वां सिन्धवो मित्र दुह्रे । त्रयस्तस्थुर्वृषभासस्तिसृणां धिषणानां रेतोधा वि द्युमन्तः ॥
irā́vatīr varuṇa dhenávo vāṃ mádhumad vāṃ síndhavo mitra duhre | tráyas tasthur vṛṣabhā́s tisṛ́ṇāṃ dhiṣáṇānāṃ reto-dhā́ ví dyu-mántaḥ ||
O Varuṇa, die nährenden Kühe eurer Macht, reich an Fülle, werden gemolken; o Mitra, die honigsüßen Ströme eures Seins fließen hervor. Drei mächtige Stiere stehen da, samen-tragend für die drei Dhiṣaṇās, strahlend in leuchtender Kraft.
