Sukta 5.69
इरावतीर्वरुण धेनवो वां मधुमद्वां सिन्धवो मित्र दुह्रे । त्रयस्तस्थुर्वृषभासस्तिसृणां धिषणानां रेतोधा वि द्युमन्तः ॥
irā́vatīr varuṇa dhenávo vāṃ mádhumad vāṃ síndhavo mitra duhre | tráyas tasthur vṛṣabhā́s tisṛ́ṇāṃ dhiṣáṇānāṃ reto-dhā́ ví dyu-mántaḥ ||
హే వరుణా, నీ ఇరావతీ (పోషక) ధేనువులు—సమృద్ధితో నిండినవి—పాలు దోహుతాయి; హే మిత్రా, మధుమత్ సింధవులు (మధుర నదులు) ప్రవహిస్తాయి. మూడు ద్యుమంత వృషభాలు, మూడు ధిషణాల (ప్రేరణల) రేతోధా (బీజధారకులు)గా నిలిచియున్నారు.
