इरावतीर्वरुण धेनवो वां मधुमद्वां सिन्धवो मित्र दुह्रे । त्रयस्तस्थुर्वृषभासस्तिसृणां धिषणानां रेतोधा वि द्युमन्तः ॥
irā́vatīr varuṇa dhenávo vāṃ mádhumad vāṃ síndhavo mitra duhre | tráyas tasthur vṛṣabhā́s tisṛ́ṇāṃ dhiṣáṇānāṃ reto-dhā́ ví dyu-mántaḥ ||
اے ورون، تیری طاقت کی پرورش کرنے والی گائیں، فراوانی سے بھرپور، دودھ دیتی ہیں؛ اے متر، تیری ہستی کی شیریں دریا بہہ نکلتے ہیں۔ تین طاقتور بیل تین الہامی پیغامات کے بیج رکھنے والے کھڑے ہیں، روشن قوت میں چمکتے ہوئے۔
