Sukta 5.69
प्रातर्देवीमदितिं जोहवीमि मध्यंदिन उदिता सूर्यस्य । राये मित्रावरुणा सर्वतातेळे तोकाय तनयाय शं योः ॥
prā́tar devī́m áditiṃ johavīmi madhyáṃdina ut-itā́ sū́ryasya | rāyé mitrā́varuṇā sarvá-tātā íḷe tokā́ya tanáyāya śáṃ yóḥ ||
Am Morgen rufe ich die Göttin Aditi; am Mittag, wenn die Sonne aufgegangen ist. Um des rāyí willen, der Fülle von Gabe und Gedeihen, verehre ich Mitra und Varuṇa, die Allumfassenden, zum Heil und zur friedvollen Freude für unser Kind und die wachsende Nachkommenschaft des Seins.
