संवृक्तधृष्णुमुक्थ्यं महामहिव्रतं मदम् । शतं पुरो रुरुक्षणिम् ॥

Transliteration

saṃvṛ́kta-dhṛṣṇum ukthyàṃ mahā́mahi-vrataṃ mádam | śatáṃ púro rurukṣáṇim ||

Translation

ผู้ถูกชำระให้บริสุทธิ์และองอาจ สมควรแก่บทสรรเสริญ; ความปีติเร่าร้อน (mada) แห่งวรตะ (vrata) อันใหญ่หลวงและทรงพลัง; ผู้พิทักษ์แนวหน้าเป็นร้อย ป้องกันภาวะชีวิตจากการจู่โจม.
