संवृक्तधृष्णुमुक्थ्यं महामहिव्रतं मदम् । शतं पुरो रुरुक्षणिम् ॥

Transliteration

saṃvṛ́kta-dhṛṣṇum ukthyàṃ mahā́mahi-vrataṃ mádam | śatáṃ púro rurukṣáṇim ||

Translation

సంవృక్త (శుద్ధి పొందిన) మరియు ధృష్ణు (ధైర్యవంతమైన), ఉక్థ్య (స్తుతి-యోగ్యమైన) ఆ మద (ఆనంద-ఉన్మాదం) — మహత్తరమైనది, మహావ్రత (మహా నియమ/వ్రత) సంపన్నమైనది; దాడికి ఎదురుగా సత్త్వంలోని వంద ముందుభాగాలను కాపాడేది.
