संवृक्तधृष्णुमुक्थ्यं महामहिव्रतं मदम् । शतं पुरो रुरुक्षणिम् ॥

Transliteration

saṃvṛ́kta-dhṛṣṇum ukthyàṃ mahā́mahi-vrataṃ mádam | śatáṃ púro rurukṣáṇim ||

Translation

संवृक्त (शुद्ध) व धृष्णु (धैर्यवान), उक्थ्य (स्तोत्र-योग्य) असा तो मद (आनंद-उन्माद) — महान, महाव्रत (महान नियम/व्रत) धारण करणारा; आक्रमणाविरुद्ध अस्तित्वाच्या शंभर अग्रभागांचे रक्षण करणारा.
