Sukta 1.113
शश्वत्पुरोषा व्युवास देव्यथो अद्येदं व्यावो मघोनी । अथो व्युच्छादुत्तराँ अनु द्यूनजरामृता चरति स्वधाभिः ॥
śáśvat puróṣā vyùvāsa devy átho adyédáṁ vyā́vo maghóni | átho vyùcchād úttarāṁ ánu dyū́n ajárāmṛ́tā carati svadhā́bhiḥ ||
แต่ครั้งดึกดำบรรพ์ อุษัส (Uṣas) เทวีแห่งอรุณได้ส่องประกายออกมาแล้ว; และวันนี้ด้วย โอ้ผู้เอื้อเฟื้อ ท่านได้เปิดเผยโลกนี้ให้ปรากฏ ครั้นเมื่อเธอรุ่งแล้ว เธอก็ดำเนินไปตามวันคืนที่ตามมา—ไม่ชรา ไม่ตาย—ด้วยพลังอันเป็นของตนเอง (svadhā).
