Sukta 4.2
यस्ते भरादन्नियते चिदन्नं निशिषन्मन्द्रमतिथिमुदीरत् । आ देवयुरिनधते दुरोणे तस्मिन्रयिर्ध्रुवो अस्तु दास्वान् ॥
yás te bharā́d anniyáte cid ánnaṃ niśíṣan mandrám atíthim udī́rat | ā́ devayúr inádhate duroṇé tásmin rayír dhruvó astu dā́svān ||
ఎవడు కొరతలోనూ నీకు అన్నాన్ని తెస్తాడో, ఎవడు ఆనందదాయక అతిథిని కూర్చోబెట్టి అతనిని ఉద్ధరించి (ఉదీరత్) పైకి లేపుతాడో—దేవయు (దేవాన్వేషి) గృహంలో నిన్ను ప్రజ్వలింపజేసినప్పుడు—ఆ దాతకు ధ్రువమైన రయి కలుగుగాక; అది ఎప్పటికీ క్షీణించనిది కావుగాక.
