a॒smé indrābṛhaspatī rayíṁ dhattaṁ śatagvínam | áśvāvantaṁ sahasríṇam ||
Translation
ഹേ ഇന്ദ്ര–ബൃഹസ്പതിമാരേ, ഞങ്ങളിലേയ്ക്ക് ശതഗ്വിൻ റയി സ്ഥാപിക്കുവിൻ—വർദ്ധനയുടെ നൂറു പ്രേരണകളാൽ സമൃദ്ധം; അശ്വവന്തം—ഗതിമാന ഊർജങ്ങളുടെ അശ്വങ്ങളാൽ യുക്തം; സഹസ്രിണം—ആയിരമടങ്ങ് വിശാലതയുള്ളത്.
