अत्या वृधस्नू रोहिता घृतस्नू ऋतस्य मन्ये मनसा जविष्ठा । अन्तरीयसे अरुषा युजानो युष्माँश्च देवान्विश आ च मर्तान् ॥
Transliteration
átyā vṛdhasnū róhitā ghṛtasnū ṛtásya manye mánasā jáviṣṭhā | antár īyase aruṣā́ yujānó yuṣmā́ṃś ca devā́n víśa ā́ ca mártān ||
Translation
അത്യന്തം വേഗമുള്ളവയാണ് നിന്റെ കുതിരകൾ—ബലത്തിൽ വളരുന്ന, ചുവപ്പുനിറമുള്ള, ഘൃതത്തിൽ നനഞ്ഞ; മനസ്സാൽ ഞാൻ അവയെ ഋതത്തിനായി ഏറ്റവും ജവಿಷ್ಠമെന്ന് ഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു. ഇങ്ങനെ നീ ഇടയിൽ സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നു—അരുണശക്തികളെ യുക്തമാക്കി—ദേവന്മാരെയും മനുഷ്യകുലങ്ങളെയും ഒരേ പ്രവാഹമായി ഋതത്തിലേക്ക് കൂട്ടിച്ചേർക്കുന്നു.
