Sukta 2.3
दैव्या होतारा प्रथमा विदुष्टर ऋजु यक्षतः समृचा वपुष्टरा । देवान्यजन्तावृतुथा समञ्जतो नाभा पृथिव्या अधि सानुषु त्रिषु ॥
daivyā́ hótārā prathamā́ vidúṣṭara ṛjú yakṣataḥ sám ṛcā́ vapúṣṭarā | devā́n yájantāv ṛtúthā sám añjató nā́bhā pṛthivyā́ ádhi sā́nuṣu tríṣu ||
രണ്ടു ദൈവ്യ ഹോതാക്കൾ—ആദ്യരും കൂടുതൽ വിജ്ഞാനികളും—ഋചയോടുകൂടെ നേരെ (ഋജു) യജിക്കുന്നു, രൂപത്തിൽ കൂടുതൽ പരിപൂർണ്ണർ. ഋതുക്ക്രമത്തിൽ ദേവന്മാർക്ക് യജിച്ച്, അവർ ഭൂമിയുടെ നാഭിയിൽ, അവളുടെ മൂന്ന് ഉയരങ്ങളിൽ, ഐക്യത്തോടെ ചേരുന്നു.
