स्थिरा वः सन्त्वायुधा पराणुदे वीळू उत प्रतिष्कभे । युष्माकमस्तु तविषी पनीयसी मा मर्त्यस्य मायिनः ॥
sthirā́ vaḥ sántv ā́yudhā parāṇúde vīḷū́ utá pratiṣká bhe | yuṣmā́kam astu táviṣī panī́yasī mā́ mártyasya māyínaḥ ||
നിങ്ങളുടെ ആയുധങ്ങൾ സ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കട്ടെ—പിന്നോട്ട് തള്ളുന്നതിനും കഠിനാക്രമണകാരനെ തടഞ്ഞുനിർത്തുന്നതിനും. നിങ്ങളുടെ തവിഷീ (ബലം) ഞങ്ങളുടേതാകട്ടെ, അത്യന്തം അഭിലഷണീയം; മായിൻ (വഞ്ചനാമനസ്സുള്ള) യാതൊരു മർത്ത്യനും ഞങ്ങളെ ജയിക്കാതിരിക്കട്ടെ.
