पवस्व सोम मधुमाँ ऋतावापो वसानो अधि सानो अव्ये । अव द्रोणानि घृतवान्ति सीद मदिन्तमो मत्सर इन्द्रपानः ॥
Transliteration
páv asva soma mádhu-māṃ ṛtā́vāpo vásāno ádhi sā́nó ávyé | áva dróṇāni ghṛtá-vanti sīda madíntamo matsará indra-pā́naḥ ||
Translation
浄めよ、ソーマよ、蜜に満ち、ṛta（宇宙の正理）を守る者よ。水をまとい、羊毛の稜（こしき）に座す。酥油に満ちた槽盃に沈み入れ——最も酔わせ、最も恍惚を与える、インドラの飲みものよ——その歓喜が供物の諸形に堅く宿れ。
