वीती जनस्य दिव्यस्य कव्यैरधि सुवानो नहुष्येभिरिन्दुः । प्र यो नृभिरमृतो मर्त्येभिर्मर्मृजानोऽविभिर्गोभिरद्भिः ॥
Transliteration
vītī́ jánasya divyásya kavyáir ádhi suvānó nahuṣyébhir índuḥ | prá yó nṛ́bhir amṛ́to mártyebhir marmṛjānó’vibhír góbhir adbhiḥ ||
Translation
天なる神々の民の享受のため、詩人たちの霊感によって、ソーマの滴はナフシュヤ（Nahushya）の人々とともに搾り出される。彼は進む——死すべき者の中にあって不死なるものとして——羊（その毛の濾し布）により、牛（光の筋）により、また水（澄明の流れ）により、磨かれ清められつつ。
