एते सोमा अति वाराण्यव्या दिव्या न कोशासो अभ्रवर्षाः । वृथा समुद्रं सिन्धवो न नीचीः सुतासो अभि कलशाँ असृग्रन् ॥
Transliteration
eté sómā áti vārā́ṇy avyā́ divyā́ na kośā́so abhrá-varṣāḥ | vṛ́thā samudráṃ síndhavo na nīcī́ḥ sutā́so abhí kalaśā́ṃ asṛgran ||
Translation
これらのソーマ（Soma）の流れは、羊毛の濾し（フィルター）を越えて進み、雲の雨より注ぐ天上の器のごとし。力強く、川々が海へと下り急ぐように、搾り出されたものは壺へと走り入った――意識を保持する器へ。
