अग्निर्न यो वन आ सृज्यमानो वृथा पाजांसि कृणुते नदीषु । जनो न युध्वा महत उपब्दिरियर्ति सोमः पवमान ऊर्मिम् ॥
Transliteration
agnír na yó vána ā́ sṛjyámāno vṛ́thā pā́jāṃsi kṛṇute nadī́ṣu | jáno na yúdhvā maháta úpabdir íyarti sómaḥ pávamāna ū́rmim ||
Translation
森へと放たれたアグニ（Agni）のように、彼は川々に沿ってその威力の輝きを燃え立たせる。大いなる咆哮をもって戦う民のように、浄められゆくソーマは波を駆り立てる――前進する力のうねりを。
