तं वः सखायो मदाय पुनानमभि गायत । शिशुं न यज्ञैः स्वदयन्त गूर्तिभिः ॥
Transliteration
táṃ vaḥ sákhāyo mádāya punānám abhí gāyata | śíśuṃ ná yajñáir svádayanta gūrtíbhiḥ ||
Translation
友よ、彼に向かって歌え——恍惚のために、自ら清めゆく者に。供犠のわざと整えられた讃歌のことばによって、幼子のように彼を甘美に味わわせよ。
