मत्स्वा सुशिप्र हरिवस्तदीमहे त्वे आ भूषन्ति वेधसः । तव श्रवांस्युपमान्युक्थ्या सुतेष्विन्द्र गिर्वणः ॥
Transliteration
mátsvā suśipra harivas tád īmahe tvé ā́ bhūṣanti védhasaḥ | táva śrávāṃsy upamā́ny ukthyā́ sutéṣv indra girvaṇaḥ ||
Translation
麗しき唇の者よ、黄駒の主よ、恍惚のうちに歓べ；それこそわれらの求めるところ――賢者たちは装いの思念を汝に向けて捧げる。汝の栄光、宣揚に値するものは、搾りしソーマの中に高く掲げられる、インドラよ、讃歌を喜ぶ者よ。
