अग्निमस्तोष्यृग्मियमग्निमीळा यजध्यै । अग्निर्देवाँ अनक्तु न उभे हि विदथे कविरन्तश्चरति दूत्यं नभन्तामन्यके समे ॥
Transliteration
agním astoṣi ṛgmíyam agním īḷā́ yajádhyai | agnír devā́n anaktu na ubhé hí vidáthe kavír antáś cárati dūtyám nabhantām anyaké samé ||
Translation
われは讃歌の先見者アグニを讃え増し、祭儀において礼拝されるべきアグニを崇める。願わくはアグニが神々をわれらの上に塗油し、われらに据え給え。彼は両の集会において、詩聖として内に巡り、使者の務めを行う——対立する力よ、他の領域へと追い払われよ。
