Transliteration
hántā vṛtráṃ dakṣiṇénéndraḥ purū́ puru-hūtáḥ | mahā́n mahī́bʰiḥ śácībʰiḥ ||
Translation
多く呼び求められるインドラ（Indra）は、右手の力によってヴリトラ（Vṛtra）を討ち滅ぼす。偉大なる者は、その大いなる霊妙の力（śacī）によって偉大であり、それらにより覆い隠す者に対する真理の勝利を打ち立てる。
