स सुक्रतुर्यो वि दुरः पणीनां पुनानो अर्कं पुरुभोजसं नः । होता मन्द्रो विशां दमूनास्तिरस्तमो ददृशे राम्याणाम् ॥
Transliteration
sa sukrátur yó ví dúraḥ paṇīnām punānáḥ arkáṃ purubhójasam naḥ | hotā mandró viśā́m damū́nās tirás támo dadṛśe rāmyā́ṇām ||
Translation
彼は—正しい識別の力ある者—パニ（Pāṇi、光を溜め込む者ども）の扉を大きく開き、みずからを清めつつ、われらのために多くを養う讃歌の炎（アルカ）を現す。諸民の喜ばしき光明の祭官ホートリ（Hotṛ）、家に住まう者として、闇を越え、麗しき者たちの彼方に見出される。
