ब्राह्मणासः पितरः सोम्यासः शिवे नो द्यावापृथिवी अनेहसा । पूषा नः पातु दुरितादृतावृधो रक्षा माकिर्नो अघशंस ईशत ॥
Transliteration
brā́hmaṇāsaḥ pitáraḥ somyā́saḥ śivé no dyā́vāpṛthivī́ anehasā́ | pūṣā́ naḥ pātu duritā́d ṛta-vṛdho rákṣā mā́ki r no agha-śaṃsá īśata ||
Translation
ブラーフマナの父祖たち、ソーマ（Soma）に満ちた祖霊たちよ、われらに慈しみあれ。天と地よ、悩みなき広がりをわれらにもたらせ。ṛta（宇宙の正序）を増し育てるプーシャン（Pūṣan）よ、苦難からわれらを守れ。護りたまえ——悪しき言葉を吐く者が、われらに権をふるうことなかれ。
