स्वादुषंसदः पितरो वयोधाः कृच्छ्रेश्रितः शक्तीवन्तो गभीराः । चित्रसेना इषुबला अमृध्राः सतोवीरा उरवो व्रातसाहाः ॥

svā́du-saṃsádaḥ pitáro vayaḥ-dhā́ḥ kṛ́cchra-śritáḥ śaktī́vanto gabhīrā́ḥ | citrá-senā iṣú-balā amṛ́dhrāḥ sató-vīrā urávo vrāta-sāhā́ḥ ||

父祖たちよ——集いの座に甘美に坐し、われらの生命の増進を支える者たちよ。困難にあって立ち、深くして力ある者たち。軍勢は彩り多く、矢の力に強く、欺かず損なわず。まことの勇者、存在は広く、取り巻く群れを打ち破る者たち。
