देवस्य वयं सवितुः सवीमनि श्रेष्ठे स्याम वसुनश्च दावने । यो विश्वस्य द्विपदो यश्चतुष्पदो निवेशने प्रसवे चासि भूमनः ॥
Transliteration
devásya vayáṃ savitúḥ savī́mani śréṣṭhe syāma vásunaś ca dā́vane | yó víśvasya dvipádo yáś cátuṣpado nivéśane prasavé cā́si bhū́manaḥ ||
Translation
われらが神サヴィタル（Savitar）の最上の駆り立てのうちにあり、その富の施与にあずからんことを。汝は広大なる者、すべての二足・四足のものの住みつきと生起・発出とを司る。
