अस्मा एतन्मह्याङ्गूषमस्मा इन्द्राय स्तोत्रं मतिभिरवाचि । असद्यथा महति वृत्रतूर्य इन्द्रो विश्वायुरविता वृधश्च ॥

asmā etan mahy āṅgūṣam asmā indrāya stotraṃ mati-bhir avāci | asad yathā mahati vṛtra-tūrye indro viśvāyur avitā vṛdhaś ca ||

彼にこの大いなる霊感の言葉を、インドラにこの讃歌を、われらの思惟によって語り出した。願わくはそのとおりであれ、あの偉大なるヴリトラ打破の戦いのごとく。インドラ、あらゆる生命の力、護り手にして増し育てる者よ。
