अधा होता न्यसीदो यजीयानिळस्पद इषयन्नीड्यः सन् । तं त्वा नरः प्रथमं देवयन्तो महो राये चितयन्तो अनु ग्मन् ॥
Transliteration
adhā́ hótā ny àsīdo yajī́yān iḷás-páda iṣáyann ī́ḍyaḥ sán | táṃ tvā nárāḥ prathamáṃ deváyanto mahó rāyé citáyanto ánu gman ||
Translation
そのとき祭官ホートリ（hotṛ）は座に就いた――いよいよ祭儀にふさわしく――イラー（Iḷā）の座にて、流れを促し、讃えらるべき者として。汝アグニよ、神々を求める人々はまず汝に従い、広大なる富饒（rāya）を希い、それを目覚めさせて意識へと導かんとする。
