को नु वां मित्रास्तुतो वरुणो वा तनूनाम् । तत्सु वामेषते मतिरत्रिभ्य एषते मतिः ॥
Transliteration
kó nú vāṃ mitrā́stuto váruṇo vā tanū́nām | tát su vām éṣate matír átribhya éṣate matíḥ ||
Translation
いま、われらの具身のはたらきのうちで、汝ら——ミトラ、あるいはヴァルナ——を讃えずにいられる者があろうか。ゆえに、まことに思惟の衝きは汝らへと迫り、アトリの裔より起こるこの希求の心もまた汝らへと迫る。
