Sukta 4.25
सुप्राव्यः प्राशुषाळेष वीरः सुष्वेः पक्तिं कृणुते केवलेन्द्रः । नासुष्वेरापिर्न सखा न जामिर्दुष्प्राव्योऽवहन्तेदवाचः ॥
suprāvyàḥ prāśuṣā́ḷ eṣá vīráḥ súsveḥ paktíṃ kṛṇute kévaléndraḥ | nā́susveḥ ā́pir ná sákhā ná jāmír duḥprāvyò ’vahanté dávācaḥ ||
この英雄は前進の助けにすぐれ、搾りにおいて強く、よく搾る者のために熟成の分け前を成し遂げる。インドラはまったく彼のものとなる。搾らぬ者には、親族でも友でも近しい者でもない。護り乏しき者は打ち伏せられ——空しい言葉を運ぶ者にすぎぬ。
