स्थूरस्य रायो बृहतो य ईशे तमु ष्टवाम विदथेष्विन्द्रम् । यो वायुना जयति गोमतीषु प्र धृष्णुया नयति वस्यो अच्छ ॥
Transliteration
sthūrásya rāyó bṛható yá ī́śe tám u ṣṭavāma vidátheṣv índram | yó vāyúnā jáyati gómatiṣu prá dhṛṣṇu-yā́ náyati vásyo áccha ||
Translation
厚くして広大なる富（rāyas）を統べるその方、インドラを、われらは集会（vidatha）において讃えよう。彼は息吹の力（vāyu）によって光に富む野（gomatī）にて勝利し、また敢然たる勢いにより、われらを前へと導き、より善き、望ましきものへと進ませる。
