Sukta 2.27
इमा गिर आदित्येभ्यो घृतस्नूः सनाद्राजभ्यो जुह्वा जुहोमि । शृणोतु मित्रो अर्यमा भगो नस्तुविजातो वरुणो दक्षो अंशः ॥
imā́ gíra ādityébhyo ghṛtásnūḥ sanā́d rājábhyo juhvā́ juhomi | śṛṇótu mitró aryamā́ bhágo nas tuvijātó váruṇo dákṣo áṃśaḥ ||
この言葉を、澄みわたる酥の光を滴らせつつ、供物の杓でアーディティヤたち(Ādityas)—太古の王たち—へと注ぎ捧げる。ミトラ(Mitra)よ聞け、アリヤマン(Aryaman)よ、そして我らのためにバガ(Bhaga)よ。力強き生まれのヴァルナ(Varuṇa)よ聞け—ダクシャ(Dákṣa)とアṃシャ(Aṃśa)もまた。
