Sukta 2.2
ये स्तोतृभ्यो गोअग्रामश्वपेशसमग्ने रातिमुपसृजन्ति सूरयः । अस्माञ्च ताँश्च प्र हि नेषि वस्य आ बृहद्वदेम विदथे सुवीराः ॥
yé stotṛ́bhyo gó-agrām áśva-peśasam agne rātím upasṛjánti sū́rayaḥ | asmā́ṃś ca tā́ṃś ca prá hí néṣi vásyaḥ ā́ bṛhád vadema vidáthē su-vī́rāḥ ||
啓かれた施与者たちは、讃歌の歌い手たちへ贈り物を解き放つ――その先頭には光の光線（go-agra）が立ち、駿馬の力（aśva-peśas）をまとって。アグニ（Agni）よ、彼らと我らとを、ともにより善き福へと導き進めよ。祭儀の集会（vidatha）において、我らは広大（bṛhat）を語り、スヴィーヴィーラ（suvīra）なる英雄の内力を具えん。
