स्तोमं वो अद्य रुद्राय शिक्वसे क्षयद्वीराय नमसा दिदिष्टन । येभिः शिवः स्ववाँ एवयावभिर्दिवः सिषक्ति स्वयशा निकामभिः ॥
Transliteration
stomaṃ vo adya rudrāya śikvase kṣayadvīrāya namasā didiṣṭana | yebhiḥ śivaḥ svavāṃ evayāvabhir divaḥ sisakti svayaśā nikāmabhiḥ ||
Translation
今日、賢きルドラ（Rudra）のために、確かな讃歌（stoma）を織りなせ。勇士の住まいを立てる主に、礼拝（namas）もて捧げよ。彼が吉祥（śiva）にして自らを制する、その諸力によって、天より自ら輝く威能を広げ、魂の真の欲求（nikāma）にかなって働かせる。
