प्र तेऽरदद्वरुणो यातवे पथः सिन्धो यद्वाजाँ अभ्यद्रवस्त्वम् । भूम्या अधि प्रवता यासि सानुना यदेषामग्रं जगतामिरज्यसि ॥

Transliteration

prá te ’radad váruṇo yā́tave páthaḥ síndho yád vājā́ṃ abhy-ádravas tvám | bhū́myā ádhi prá-vatā yā́si sā́nunā yád eṣā́m ágraṃ jágatām irajyási ||

Translation

ヴァルナは汝のために行くべき道を切り開いた、ああシンドゥ（Sindhu）よ、汝が力の満ち満ちた豊饒へと奔り寄ったその時に。汝は大地の上を、斜面と稜線に沿って進む。これら動きゆく諸世界の先頭に立ち、彼らの進軍を導きつつ進む時に。
