विश्वस्य हि प्रेषितो रक्षसि व्रतमहेळयन्नुच्चरसि स्वधा अनु । यदद्य त्वा सूर्योपब्रवामहै तं नो देवा अनु मंसीरत क्रतुम् ॥
Transliteration
víśvasya hí préṣito rákṣasi vratám áheḷayann úccarasi svadhā́ ánu | yád adyá tvā sūrya upabravā́mahai táṃ no devā́ ánu maṃsīrata krátum ||
Translation
汝は万有のために遣わされ、誓戒（vrata）を護る。怒りなく、自らの本有の力（svadhā）に従って昇る。今日われらが汝に申し述べることよ、スーリヤ（Sūrya）よ——神々がこれに同意し、われらの意志（kratu）を確かなものとせんことを。
