तेऽवर्धन्त स्वतवसो महित्वना नाकं तस्थुरुरु चक्रिरे सदः । विष्णुर्यद्धावद्वृषणं मदच्युतं वयो न सीदन्नधि बर्हिषि प्रिये ॥
Transliteration
té ’vardhanta svátavaso mahitvánā nā́kaṃ tasthur urú cakrire sádaḥ | víṣṇur yád dhā́vad vṛ́ṣaṇaṃ madacyútam váyo ná sī́dann ádhi bárhiṣi priyé ||
Translation
彼らは自らの力（svatavas）によって増大し、その偉大さによって広がった。天に位を定め、存在の座を広く打ちひらいた。ヴィシュヌ（Vishnu）が奔り立つ牡牛を駆り動かすとき——恍惚より落ちぬ者——彼らは生命の息吹（vayas）のごとく、愛しき祭草（barhis）の上に坐した。
