उषो यदग्निं समिधे चकर्थ वि यदावश्चक्षसा सूर्यस्य । यन्मानुषान्यक्ष्यमाणाँ अजीगस्तद्देवेषु चकृषे भद्रमप्नः ॥
Transliteration
uṣo yád agníṁ samídhe cákartha ví yád ā́vaś cákṣasā sū́ryasya | yán mā́nuṣān yakṣyámāṇān ájīgas tád devéṣu cakṛṣe bhadrám ápnaḥ ||
Translation
ウシャスよ、あなたがアグニ（火）を燃え立たせ、スーリヤ（太陽）の見る光をひらき放つとき；供献を整えつつある人々を奮い起こすとき――そのときあなたは神々のうちに吉きわざを成し遂げ、恵みある成就を得させる。
