This short Pavamāna Soma hymn celebrates the Soma-drops as they set forth on the ordained path of Ṛta, becoming radiant as they are purified through the filter. असृग्रमिन्दवः पथा धर्मन्नृतस्य सुश्रियः । विदाना अस्य योजनम् ॥
सोम की बूंदें रास्ते पर निकली हैं। यह रास्ता सीधा और सही है, और चमकदार भी। सोम जानता है कि उसको कैसे जोड़ना है, अंदर के अंदर।

परि यत्काव्या कविर्नृम्णा वसानो अर्षति । स्वर्वाजी सिषासति ॥
जब रिशि ताकत पहन के घूमता है, तो उसके पास कविता की ताकत होती है। वो चारों तरफ फैलता है। वो सूरज की दुनिया जीतना चाहता है। वो सब ताकत को अपने कंट्रोल में लाना चाहता है।

पवमानो अभि स्पृधो विशो राजेव सीदति । यदीमृण्वन्ति वेधसः ॥
सोम अपने आप को साफ कर रहा है। फिर वो लड़ाई-झगड़े के ऊपर बैठता है, जैसे राजा लोगों के ऊपर बैठता है। यह तब होता है जब ज्ञानी लोग उसे चलाते हैं और उठाते हैं।

अव्यो वारे परि प्रियो हरिर्वनेषु सीदति । रेभो वनुष्यते मती ॥
भेड़ के ऊन के थ्रू, वो प्यारा पीला रंग वाला सोम घूमता है। वो जंगल में बैठता है। जो लोग गाना गाते हैं, उनका मन उसकी तरफ खिंचा जाता है और वो उसकी सेवा करते हैं।

स वायुमिन्द्रमश्विना साकं मदेन गच्छति । रणा यो अस्य धर्मभिः ॥
वो खुशी से वायु के पास जाता है। इंद्र के पास भी जाता है, अश्विन भाइयों के पास भी। यह वो इंसान है जो अपने धरम के हिसाब से जीता है। अंदर की लड़ाई जीत के खुश होता है।

आ मित्रावरुणा भगं मध्वः पवन्त ऊर्मयः । विदाना अस्य शक्मभिः ॥
मीठी लहरें मित्र-वरुण के पास जाती हैं। भगवान के पास भी जाती हैं। यह लहरें जानती हैं कि उसकी ताकत क्या है। वो सबको सही रिश्ते देती हैं और खुशी का हिस्सा देती हैं।

अस्मभ्यं रोदसी रयिं मध्वो वाजस्य सातये । श्रवो वसूनि सं जितम् ॥
आसमान और धरती, तुम हमारे लिए धन कमाओ। मीठी चीज़ें लाओ ताकि हमारा जीत पूरा हो। हमें अच्छी बदहाई दो और सच्चे खज़ाने एक साथ लाओ।
