Sukta 9.83
अरूरुचदुषसः पृश्निरग्रिय उक्षा बिभर्ति भुवनानि वाजयुः । मायाविनो ममिरे अस्य मायया नृचक्षसः पितरो गर्भमा दधुः ॥
arū́rucad uṣásaḥ pṛ́śnir agriyá ukṣā́ bibharti bhúvanāni vāja-yúḥ | māyāvíno mamire asya māyáyā nṛ-cákṣasaḥ pitáro gárbham ā́ dadhúḥ ||
Der Gesprenkelte leuchtet auf in der Morgenröte, vornan, als Erster; der Stier, nach vāja verlangend, trägt die Welten. Durch seine māyā, die bildende Kraft, messen ihn die Herren des Schauens; die Väter, mit menschensehendem Blick, legten den Keim inwendig nieder – damit die Wonne der Geburt in uns erstehe.
