Sukta 9.83
अरूरुचदुषसः पृश्निरग्रिय उक्षा बिभर्ति भुवनानि वाजयुः । मायाविनो ममिरे अस्य मायया नृचक्षसः पितरो गर्भमा दधुः ॥
arū́rucad uṣásaḥ pṛ́śnir agriyá ukṣā́ bibharti bhúvanāni vāja-yúḥ | māyāvíno mamire asya māyáyā nṛ-cákṣasaḥ pitáro gárbham ā́ dadhúḥ ||
उषेच्या वेळी चित्तर (पृश्नि) तेजाने उजळून निघतो, अग्रभागी प्रथम; वाजाची इच्छा धरणारा तो वृषभ भुवनांना धारण करतो. त्याच्या माया-शक्तीने नृचक्षस्—द्रष्टे ऋषी—त्याचे मापन करतात; मानव-दृष्टी असलेले पितर गर्भ अंतरी स्थापतात.
