gandharvá itthā́ padám asya rakṣati pā́ti devā́nāṃ jánimāny ádbhutaḥ | gṛbhṇā́ti ripúṃ nidháyā nidhā́patiḥ sukṛ́ttamā madhúno bhakṣám ā́śata ||

Translation

So hütet der Gandharva seinen Stand; wundersam bewahrt er die Geburten der Götter. Er packt die feindliche Macht durch verborgenes Einsetzen – der Herr des Schatzes; die Bestwirkenden gelangen zum honigsüßen Anteil – zur Wonne, vor dem Verderber gesichert.
